Here are a bunch of random photos.
2016 is a presidential election year and critical for our country and the State of North Carolina. I took Milo with me to early voting. I found myself a little misty eyed as I stepped to the polling station with my son. Despite how crazy this election cycle has been, we live in an amazing country with much opportunity. We live in a comfortable home, have enough food and are safe. We are truly lucky (or as they say in the South, “blessed”).
Milo and I went to a birthday party at the Greensboro Children’s Museum. Milo’s bestie was there too and the two of them found the Lego table.
Milo and I had a little time one Sunday morning and went to play at the Lindley School playground. I love the last picture. He’s gotten so big and independent.
One of my favorite things Milo does these days is cheer me on! I zipped up his sweater and he looks up at me so earnestly and says, “Yay, Mama!” It warms my heart and reminds me it really is the small things in life that make the biggest difference.
